The power of proteomics and the Foster lab
UBC’s Proteomics Core Facility was launched more than a decade ago as a part of the Michael Smith Laboratories and conducts more than 150 analytical projects a year using mass spectrometers. Dr. Leonard Foster is the Director of the Proteomics Core Facility which conducts protein analysis on a broad range of subjects varying from bees to spinal cord samples. In a story written by UBC’s Faculty of Science, Dr. Foster talks about the importance of proteomics.
